Over the past two years you may have noticed occasional changes evolving in the layout, design, and contents of The Christian Science Journal. This month, for example, the table of contents has moved to the first page for ease of reference. Also, the "Letters" column is now just one page in length; we hope readers will use this column primarily to engage in a lively exchange regarding ideas shared in he Journal's pages.
In addition, you'll notice a new feature that will be appearing from time to time: "Perspectives...on science, theology, and medicine" (see p. 13). Since its founding in 1883, the Journal has been recording the divine Science, Theology, and Medicine of Christ, Truth, and their leavening and healing effects on humanity. This new feature highlights signs of spiritual leavening in the human thought-fields of science, theology, and medicine and discusses them from the perspective of Christian Science. An editorial pertinent to this subject appears this month.
The theme of spiritual identity runs through many of the articles, features, and accounts of healing in this issue. We hope you will feast on it— and be enriched and renewed.
