Letters

From the January 1997 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I am especially grateful for four articles in The Christian Science Journal of last August— "Quiet in the rush of life," "Moses, the burning bush, and holy inspiration," "'Without hands': spiritual creation, spiritual warfare," and "Being who you are." They were the first ones I read, and were a gratefully received answer to prayer. ...These four articles did much to help me see the way I should be viewing [a difficult] situation. ...The periodicals are a most important part of my continuing study of Christian Science.

The July 1996 edition of the Journal reported that Monitor* Editor David Cook said at the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church: "Our goal for the E-Monitor is twofold: to reach people in places or age-groups who wouldn't otherwise have access to the Monitor, and to develop a greater appreciation for the paper."
