I am so grateful for Christian Science, which was introduced to me some thirty years ago. It has brought peace and good into my experience ever since.
When our parents passed away, my family inherited their ranch and other assets. There were some inharmonious disputes as to the time involved in the distribution of the estate. But these differences were resolved through prayer, and we each went our separate way harmoniously.
Mrs. Eddy's article "Angels" in Miscellaneous Writings (see pp. 306-307), was especially helpful to me while working out my part in this experience. The article explains: "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for tomorrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment. What a glorious inheritance is given to us through the understanding of omnipresent Love! More we cannot ask: more we do not want: more we cannot have. This sweet assurance is the 'Peace, be still' to all human fears, to suffering of every sort." By holding steadfastly to these ideas, I was led to get training in a different kind of work than I had been doing and to reestablish myself in a new and satisfying job and home.
