To prove it so

From the May 1997 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Believe
that all good can and will
bear fruit from the knowing of good's reality.
And it can be proved so.

Hope
that happiness flourishes,
lifted and carried on the updrafts
of that rising expectation.
And it can be proved so.

Trust
that no interference
from rushed-about
or timid fad-following fears,
can mar the perseverance and patience
so naturally yours.
And it can be proved so.

Know
that in such faith-holding
and security-claiming,
midst whatever sorts of doubts
or temptations
skepticism may posture,
success will vanquish failure.
And it can be proved so.

To prove it so,
Pray
that all truth be known,
received openly and obeyed gladly
even among earth's trials and
growing pains,
our footsteps firm and constant,
so that wrong and error may be forever
banished.

Listen
to Mind's sure and persistent knowing
of eternal, perfectly intelligent existence,
beyond all musings and imaginings
about the many-formed life of
the matter universe,
so that you reflect God, true Being.

Understand
that your good comes from God
and belongs, inviolably, to you.
without compromise.

And it will be proved so.
