New German translation of Science and Health

From the May 1997 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Publisher of the Writings of Mary Baker Eddy is pleased to announce the upcoming publication in September 1997 of a new German translation of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

Mary Baker Eddy commissioned the first translation of Science and Health in German in 1908. It was published four years later in 1912. The new translation is faithful to the guidelines Mrs. Eddy established.

Meetings about the new edition of Science and Health, called by the Clerk of The Mother Church, will occur throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in May. Information about the location and times of these meetings is available in the May issue of the German Edition of The Herald of Christian Science. For English-speaking subscribers interested in reading more about the worldwide availability of Science and Health, a report about these meetings will be published in a future issue of this magazine.
