Workshops held around the world for Christian Science nurses

"It was like a family fireside chat. . ."

From the August 1997 issue of The Christian Science Journal

A member of The Mother Church who represents himself or herself as a Christian Science nurse shall be one who has a demonstrable knowledge of Christian Science practice, who thoroughly understands the practical wisdom necessary in a sick room, and who can take proper care of the sick.

The cards of such persons may be inserted in The Christian Science Journal under rules established by the publishers.—Manual of The Mother Church, Article VIII, Section 31, by Mary Baker Eddy.

Sometimes a family needs to gather together and just listen to one another! That's what happened when two nurses, representatives of the Office of the Clerk of The Mother Church, met with four hundred nurses around the world during 1996 and 1997.
