Letters & Conversations

LETTERS

From the December 1998 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Lambeth Conference, an international gathering of Anglican Church ministers, took place in Canterbury, England, during July and August. One of the conference debates concerned the subject of Christian standards of sexual morality. The debate received widespread coverage in the media.

The first three articles in the August issue of The Christian Science Journal focusing on the subject "Moral strength, moral leadership," provided an important context in which to evaluate the Lambeth Conference debate. These Journal articles, written with honesty and clarity, provide an effective, Bible-based response to questions concerning moral behavior and conduct.

Moral strength and moral leadership are subjects of vital importance today. Thank you for addressing these issues so competently.
