Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe" (John 4:48). This is what Christ Jesus told the nobleman who asked him to come and heal his son. The nobleman did believe, and his son was healed.
One Wednesday afternoon I had decided that I was not going to church that evening. I was having a problem with my hearing and was miserable! As the time for the testimony meeting grew closer, however, I found myself getting ready. I wondered, Why am I getting ready? I was so adamant about not going.
Then I thought that I could just sit in the lobby and listen to the service over the speakers, which is what I did. When the time came for the testimonies, I thought that I would not give a testimony. But I found myself standing and heading for the door to the auditorium. How could I give a testimony? Then I remembered the story of the nobleman. We do not have to see physical signs and wonders before we can be healed.
