For eleven weeks this past summer, music and Bible stories filled that air over one of Boston's favorite meeting places, the fountain at Christian Science Plaza, 175 Huntington Avenue.
Summer SOULstice was a series of events designed to provide neighborhood children and their families with cultural exploration, education, and spiritual enrichment—companions to the natural refreshment of a splash in the fountain.
It was sponsored by The Mother Church and The Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity, and arranged in collaboration with the Boston Symphony (Boston Pops), Boston Public Library, Massachusetts Horticultural Society, New England Conservatory of Music, Bible Discovery Place, and others.
