Testimonies of Healing

Prayer and healing at the airport

From the August 2001 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Two years ago I was disembarking from a plane. As I was the first one to get off, I was walking rapidly so as not to hold up those behind me. Suddenly, while going up a slight incline at the gate, I tripped. I fell so hard that when I hit the ground, I bounced back up and fell again, striking my head on a metal bar. Several people who saw this were alarmed and wanted to help me.

God's love and wisdom are always present.

I assured them I was all right and asked to be helped up. As I rose, there was a profuse flow of blood from my forehead. Very quickly, paramedics, police, and some airport employees were at my side. They told me that the ambulance had been called and that, because I was in shock, I needed to be quiet.
