I have had so many wonderful healings as a Christian Scientist, and am grateful for all of them.
When I was in my early 20s, I applied for Primary class instruction with a Christian Science teacher. About six or seven months prior to class, a skin condition developed behind both my ears. I prayed about it, but it didn't go away. Because I'd seen so many marvelous healings through prayer in my family and knew others had had healings through prayer, I knew this condition could and would be healed also.
I went for the two weeks of class instruction. Near the end of the second week, our teacher gave us the assignment to give a Christian Science treatment through prayer, using the truths we had learned and discussed. So I decided to pray for myself. As I prayed that evening, I was very inspired and felt such gratitude for class instruction. I understood how to affirm the truth that God is perfect, and that I as His spiritual conception reflect that perfection.
