From the January 2002 issue of The Christian Science Journal

is a Christian Science healer and teacher who lives in the state of Washington, in the United States. He was a chaplain during the Vietnam War. Mather spoke with the Journal about spiritual defense in relation to the ongoing struggle against terrorism.

Those principles are the basis of our freedoms. And they will prevail, if we use them as instruments of healing.
