Testimonies of Healing

Normal pregnancies, births, despite malformed uterus

From the January 2002 issue of The Christian Science Journal

When my husband and I decided to start our family, I turned to God in prayer. Before we were married, I was told I had a malformed uterus, which the doctor said would make getting pregnant extremely difficult, if not impossible. And if I got pregnant, his prognosis was that I wouldn't be able to carry the baby to term.

I also contacted a practitioner of Christian Science to help me pray about having a baby. We prayed together to see that God's tender spiritual parenthood was expressed in my perfection as His child, whole and complete.

The Bible says, "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth ..." (Gen. 1:28). We prayed to see that God gives us the power to provide evidence of His creation. I was soon pregnant.
