"Fasten Your Seat Belts. We're preparing to land." The voice of the pilot came on as we were approaching the Palm Springs airport. It was a beautiful spring day, and my friend and I were looking forward to our three-week vacation in her lovely condominium in the desert.
But as we were leaving the airplane, my heel caught in a crack and I fell, sustaining multiple cuts and bruises and a big bump on my head along the way. Blood was all over my clothes and shoes. The interesting thing was that I was not afraid for even a moment, because I was instinctively trusting God.
While I was falling, the word intact came to my thought. I had done some research on that word a few days before the trip. One of its dictionary definitions is, "Untouched by anything that harms or diminishes." As I lay there, my friend leaned over to me and said, "God is your Life." I appreciated her reassurance.
