LETTERS

From the September 2002 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I can't tell you how pleased I am that you have an issue dealing with handling animal magnetism [July]. It is the most important thing Mrs. Eddy ever put into her writings. I am finding that when I handle evil in all its forms, I grow more spiritual, and experience more goodness. Everything else she wrote then makes more sense to me. Thank you ever so much.

I found this article astonishing—the common bond of faith discovered through all the major religions—that of reaching for God consciousness, or communion with God. It just thrills me that not only do we have this wonderfully common bond, but that Christian Science has this open heart to listen, hear, and rejoice in our commonality. Kudos for this God-derived spirit of openness and inclusiveness. So needed—so healing.
