RADICAL CURE

The Gift of the Christ

From the December 2006 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"And all God's creatures hail the morn/On which the holy Christ was born!/ ... I know, through God's exceeding grace, /Release from form and time and place."

So go the words to this loved poem by 19th-century American poet John Greenleaf Whittier. And as we celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas season—as Christians have done for the last two millennia—we find that through divine Love's "exceeding grace" the Christ continues to release each of us from "form and time and place"—from all disease, sorrow, poverty, sin, and fear.

As Mary Baker Eddy declared, "The Science of Mind must come to the rescue, to work a radical cure" (Science and Health, p. 398). The following testimonies give proof of Christian Science healing—the truth of God's eternal, triumphant laws of health, peace, and goodness. These radical cures show that the Christ—God's blessed gift to humanity—is here today. Here forever.
