From the December 2006 issue of The Christian Science Journal

It was less a matter of geographic proximity, and more her untiring dedication to helping humanity through the Science of the Christ that made Neera Kapur the natural choice to interview Christian Scientists in northern India. A native of Mumbai, Neera talked to members of Chandigarh's Christian Science Society about what makes them thrive. Neera sees this congregation as "free and unencumbered by pride or formality, because they focus on healing." Page 12.

What better gift for us all to gratefully accept this Christmas than the gift of God's love? "Everything we are—and everything we need—is a gift from God," writes Sabrina Stillwell in this month's Deep Think. She and her husband, Rob, live in Ogden, Utah, where she is a Christian Science practitioner and teacher. Page 22.

Having lived the past year in Iraq's capital, Baghdad, Jessica could feel threatened by events on the war-torn streets. But she trusts in God's safety and in the inherent goodness of each individual. Don't miss her story. It's sure to inspire. Page 48.
