LETTERS

From the April 2006 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I especially liked Amy Baker's Square One in the February Journal [p. 7]. Her account of her sister's panic at the school assignment of a full page of mathematics until she saw at the bottom, just before the equal sign, the last factor—"times zero"—is so thought provoking! How true this can be in the lives of so many of us as we seem to be confronted by many mental pages of error's claims. And the claims also include the error that there can be terrorists. The zero factor even negates that claim. The mortal error of a consciousness of terrorism does not touch the human consciousness that dwells in the consciousness of Love forever. We have divine authority and are divinely empowered to add that final factor at the bottom of the page: "times zero." And then what does it all add up to? Nothing!

I would like to say a very big thank you for "Road to Nairobi ... and back (changed)" [February, p. 36]—for your honesty, openness, and willingness to absorb and to learn, and for sharing your experiences with Journal readers.
