Inspiration from Japan

It was soon after my association this year, and I was still contemplating the theme: “Infinite.” Then one day, I realized more deeply the value of Science and Health when I was reading another book that asked us to pray for the earth, even a little time every day. I came to understand that Science and Health was written for the entire earth—to be lifted and advanced. It was written to liberate humanity from erroneous education and curse. 

For the first time, I feel I came to know its true value, and was in deep agreement with its purpose. I wrote this poem after that realization.  

The book was . . .

to lift up all over the earth

to free all mankind from the bondage

to understand God as our Parent

to know ourselves

to love one another

to be one 

for “honest seekers for Truth”*
