Through many years of my study of Christian Science, I have been grateful for numerous healings, ranging from colds to leukemia, as well as various examples of God’s gracious protection from evil.
I would like to take this opportunity to express gratitude to God and to Christian Science for a healing in my life that took place over eight years ago. For reasons too long to go into detail here, and that concern an entirely different healing, it so happened I was in a situation where a really big, strong fellow became angry with me for what seemed like no good reason and hit me squarely in the face.
I remember thinking at first that I was OK. I took a step back, and then I felt as if I were falling in an elevator—down I went! And out. I vaguely remember an ambulance being summoned and my being driven to the hospital.
