God's 'urgent care'

From the June 2012 issue of The Christian Science Journal

A new “Urgent Care” clinic recently opened up in a shopping plaza we pass on our way to church. The sign has good visibility from the highway, as well as in the shopping plaza itself. Each time I pass it I am grateful it’s there for people who feel the need for immediate help. It also makes me grateful for what Christian Science has to offer in the line of “urgent care.”

Urgent implies something that is pressing, that has top priority—that must be attended to right away. Urgency can come in many forms, e.g., physical, financial, or family issues. When these situations arise in our lives, we often feel we need immediate assistance. Where can we turn for reliable and instantaneous help?

The “urgent care” of God, divine Mind, is the answer.
