Commitment to healing

Never alone in the healing practice

From the June 2015 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In one day, I attended an informal meeting for Christian Science practitioners and teachers at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Altrincham, and then a larger meeting including others who were serious about developing their healing practice.

I was grateful for a sense of unity in
the healing work and for the dedication and inspired prayer that my fellow practitioners give to their work.

Work in the practice can seem rather solitary, so it was good, in the earlier meeting, to meet with fellow practitioners and discuss matters of common interest. I was grateful for a sense of unity in the healing work, despite the distances separating us, and for the dedication and inspired prayer that my fellow practitioners give to their work.
