To begin Annual Meeting, Margaret Rogers, the current Chair of the Christian Science Board of Directors, welcomed the global Church family and formally introduced the officers of The Mother Church: Robin Hoagland, Allison W. “Skip” Phinney, Scott Preller, and Lyle Young, fellow Board members; Suzanne Riedel, Clerk; Lyon Osborn, Treasurer; Louis Benjamin from South Africa and Diane Marrapodi from the United States, incoming First and Second Readers; and Annu Matthai from India, the new President for the coming year. Margaret also acknowledged Mary Baker Eddy as the Pastor Emeritus.
Margaret thanked the outgoing Readers, Judy Olson and Norm Bleichman, and the outgoing President, Beverley Beddoes-Mills, who shared through a video message her gratitude for having served as President.
