Responsibility of First Readers Every First Reader in a branch of The Mother Church has a sacred responsibility in the conduct of the services of his church or society. His is the duty of choosing suitable Scriptural selections and benedictions for the Sunday services, as well as appropriate selections from the Christian Science textbooks, the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for the Wednesday testimony meetings.

NOTICE Lectures in Europe As soon as possible, after the announcement in June following the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church as to which lecturers are to be assigned to Great Britain, Ireland, and the Continent, clerks of the churches and societies in those countries should make application for lectures. These applications should be received not later than July 1.

The Normal class of the Board of Education, which was provided for by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, is held triennially in accordance with Article XXVI, Section 4 , of the Manual of The Mother Church. It will meet in December, 1958.
