IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT The Quarterly Heralds in a New Dress The Christian Science Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society are happy to announce an important extension of The Herald of Christian Science , the contents of which are now available in nine different languages, each with the English text. In order to promote the missionary value of the editions at present published quarterly by giving them wider circulation and to make them generally more helpful, the Herald , beginning with the January, 1959, issue will appear in a new format in the following seven separate editions: Danish, Dutch, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish.

SUPPORTING OUR HERALDS IN THEIR MISSION In response to a widespread interest in the various editions of The Herald of Christian Science , the Editors are taking this opportunity to explain something of the purpose of the Heralds and the nature of their contents. Our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who gave the name to each of our periodicals, lists them and indicates their mission in an item entitled "Something in a Name" in "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany.

FROM THE DIRECTORS The Final Revelation Occasionally practitioners, Readers, and other members of The Mother Church are solicited to purchase unauthorized books and other literature which claim to elucidate the teachings of Christian Science. In the Bible as well as in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and other published writings of Mary Baker Eddy, students of Christian Science have the only textbooks they need for self-instruction in Christian Science.

The Annual Meeting of The Mother Church will convene at two o'clock on Monday, June 2. Cards of admission are not sent through the mail, but will be issued in Horticultural Hall, Falmouth Street, to members who call in person on the following days: Saturday, May 31 8.
