From the Treasurer of The Mother Church Per Capita Tax , as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13 , is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and ''shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer. " Payments may be sent during the year at any time between January 1 and December 31.
HEAR THE TUESDAY EVENING MEETING HELD IN THE MOTHER CHURCH Every member of The Mother Church or of its many branches will have the privilege again this year of hearing by means of a tape recording the inspiring message of the Tuesday Evening Meeting which was held in the Extension of The Mother Church on June 9. THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MOTHER CHURCH The Annual Meeting of The Mother Church will convene at two o'clock on Monday, June 8. Cards of admission are not sent through the mail, but will be issued in Horticultural Hall, Falmouth Street, to members who call in person on the following days: Saturday, June 6 8.

OUR LEADER'S COUNSEL REGARDING CHURCH MEMBERSHIP In writing to a branch church regarding its dedication, Mary Baker Eddy lovingly counseled, "May God's little ones cluster around this rock-ribbed church like tender nestlings in the crannies of the rocks, and preen their thoughts for upward flight" (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 186 ).
