FROM THE DIRECTORS [As published in The Christian Science Journal, November, 1954] The attention of members of The Mother Church and others is called to Article VIII, Section 22 , of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, the first paragraph of which reads: "Members of this Church shall hold in sacred confidence all private communications made to them by their patients; also such information as may come to them by reason of their relation of practitioner to patient. A failure to do this shall subject the offender to Church discipline.

Availability "Assignment: Mankind" The Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society announces that the motion picture "Assignment: Mankind" will be available on and after January 1, 1960, for showing by branch churches, societies, and college organizations throughout the Field. This dramatic film presentation of the story of The Christian Science Monitor, which has already attracted favorable attention in many parts of the world, is 16mm in full color and runs for twenty-eight minutes.

THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR YOUTH FORUMS Studies in recent months in the United States and the various other countries concerned have indicated clearly that the essential purpose for which The Christian Science Monitor Youth Forums and Junior Forums and their Headquarters Secretary's office in Boston were established has been accomplished. The formal organization of the Forums and the Headquarters Secretary's office will therefore be discontinued December 31 of this year.

THE BLESSING OF MOTHER CHURCH MEMBERSHIP One who has accepted the teachings of Christian Science as his way of life finds himself greatly blessed when he acknowledges this fact through membership in The Mother Church. The requirements as set forth in the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy should be carefully pondered by those considering membership before the application and the accompanying questionnaire are filled out.
