Notices

From the March 1960 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Officers of branch churches and individuals who have occasion to correspond with The Christian Science Board of Directors, with the Clerk and the Treasurer of The Mother Church, and with the heads of departments of The Mother Church Offices are requested always to place their addresses on their letters and to write their signatures plainly. Women are requested to use the title "Miss" or "Mrs." as the fact may be, and to use their Christian names. The co-operation of correspondents is solicited.

As soon as possible after the announcement in June following the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church as to which lecturers are to be assigned to Great Britain, Ireland, and the Continent, clerks of the churches and societies in those countries should make application for lectures. These applications should be received not later than July 1. If a church or society wishes to sponsor a lecture during July or August, application should be made promptly to The Christian Science Board of Lectureship.

When executive boards are appointing lecture committees in the various churches and societies, it would be advantageous to keep in thought that the members of a committee should be able to communicate with each other during July and August.
