From the January 1959 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Church membership is a rewarding experience. Sometimes a student may wonder, "Am I good enough to become a member of The Mother Church?" The requirements are simple: a deep desire for spiritual progress, regular study of the weekly Lesson-Sermons, outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly, and earnest reliance upon Christian Science alone for healing.

Application blanks may be obtained at Christian Science Reading Rooms, from practitioners listed in The Christian Science Journal, or from clerks of branch churches and societies. Applications may also be obtained from Gordon V. Comer, Clerk, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston 15, Massachusetts.

A meeting to consider and further the mission of Christian Science organizations at colleges and universities, formed in accordance with Article XXIII, Section 8, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, is planned in Boston for September 3, 4, and 5, 1959.
