[As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, November 21,1931] The progress of our movement has been marked by certain outstanding undertakings successfully terminated. The first of these milestones was the building of the original Mother Church, in 1894.

FROM THE DIRECTORS On Radiocasting [As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, October 24, 1931] Because radiocasting presents increasing opportunities for sending out over the air Christian Science programs, it has seemed necessary for The Christian Science Board of Directors to define in this respect the relative responsibilities of branch churches and societies and of Committees on Publication. Earlier in the history of broadcasing, the Directors made a rule that a Christian Science church service or a lecture on Christian Science should always be radiocast from the auditorium where given, and not sent out from studios.

The new Braille edition of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, now on sale, is a great improvement over previous editions. By employing two-side embossing or interpointing, it has been possible to produce the textbook in Revised Braille in five compact volumes weighing ten pounds less than in previous editions, in which one-side embossing was used.
New Publishing House Rumors current in certain sections of the Field to the effect that a large proportion of the building fund for the new Publishing House has already been contributed and is in the hands of the Treasurer of The Mother Church are without foundation. A similar erroneous report went abroad when in 1904 the building fund for The Mother Church Extension was open to contributions.

Applications for admission to membership in The Mother Church may be sent to the Clerk at any time throughout the year. It is desirable that applications should be forwarded in ample time so that they may receive the essential preliminary attention before the date of election.
