From the Clerk of The Mother Church Church Tenets The Tenets of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, for the use of branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, are printed on sheets containing space for adding the application forms for membership in branch organizations, or extracts from their bylaws. The Tenets are not to be printed by the branch organizations as a part of their by-laws nor as application forms for membership.
NOTICE [As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, May 3, 1930] As is usual at this time of year announcement is made of those members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship who desire to reserve to themselves, for the study and practice of Christian Science, the coming lecture year. Branch churches and societies are therefore advised that during the lecture year beginning July 1 and ending June 30, 1931, the following named lecturers will, at their own request, be relieved of active service in the lecture field: Hon.

A Noticeable tendency to use, instead of the originals, copies of articles which have appeared from time to time, and of class notes or letters, needs to be checked. The habit of passing about and relying upon such writings for spiritual guidance is unscientific and often misleading.

The call from the Field for color in the binding of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" has been so insistent that the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy have authorized the publication of two new editions of the textbook in color. In selecting a color, the universal combination of blue and gold seen in the sky and sunshine seemed to present the most pleasing effect, and so the new editions are bound in blue and stamped in gold.

IT is our pleasure to announce that Articles of Incorporation have been signed for the Christian Science Benevolent Association for Pacific Coast. This Association will operate the sanatorium now in process of construction in San Francisco, the purposes and aims of which are identical with those of the original Massachusetts corporation bearing the name of The Christian Science Benevolent Association, which is operating a sanatorium at Chestnut Hill, and has been doing so since November 1, 1919.
