While acknowledging gratefully the public confidence, manifested in daily letters that protest against receiving instruction in the Massachusetts Metaphysical College from any other than Mrs. Eddy, I feel deeply that it imposes on me, of necessity, the severe task of remaining at present a public servant.

A Circular is going the round, signed by Albert B. Dorman, soliciting subscriptions from students of the Mass.

Many of our subscribers will receive with this number of the Journal a notice of the expiration of their subscriptions. Please renew promptly; and it insures prompt delivery of your Journal.

This institution, chartered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1881, receives both male and female students. It gives ample instruction in every Scientific method of medicine.

The Christian Science Journal is a superior medium for advertising. It does not admit everything without choice or scrutiny, so that all advertisements are in honorable company; and it does not propose to have a very large number of advertisements, so that each will have a comparative prominence.

During the month past the Christian Science Publishing Company has been organized, in fulfillment of a long cherished wish. This Society will have charge of all the publishing business of the Christian Church (Scientist).
