Attention, members of The Mother Church Did you receive your 1990 Per Capita Tax reminder? If not, this may signal that the Clerk's Office does not have a current name and/ or address for you. Updating our records and keeping in regular contact with members are vital activities of the Clerk's Office—and we hope they're equally important to you! If you have changes to share, won't you take a moment and use one of the Clerk's change-of-address cards enclosed in this issue? Or, save them for use later on.

Normal class 1991

In the Manual of The Mother Church, Mary Baker Eddy was inspired to provide for the continuity of her teaching by the establishment of a Board of Education. The Normal class of the Board of Education is conducted triennially for qualified Christian Science practitioners.

A celebration at The Mother Church For years, our friends and neighbors have wondered just why Christian Scientists gather in Boston on the first Monday after the first Sunday in June. This year on the weekend before Annual Meeting all our doors will be wide open! Scheduled programs and events will show what we are learning from the response around the world to the publishing activities of The Mother Church.

Archivist's Office: global outreach The Archives and Library of The Mother Church house information on the life of Mary Baker Eddy, her writings, her students, and the origins of the Church. The Archivist's Office reports that recently church members have visited the Archives and Library from twenty-five lands—from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, England, the Federal Republic of Germany, France, the German Democratic Republic, Ghana, India, the Isle of Man, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Portugal, the Philippines, the Republic of South Africa, Switzerland, Trinidad, Uruguay, Wales, and Zambia.

What you can expect at a Christian Science lecture First of all, the lecture will most likely be held at a public place. The church members may decide to use their church edifice or a local auditorium, hotel meeting room, school gymnasium, even a church of another denomination.
