Whoever we are and wherever we are, the cultivation and protection of a right sense of home are vitally important. Originating in, continuing in, and controlled by divine Mind, or God, in whom is all real being, the perfect idea of home is always asserting itself.

Proper identification enables us to demonstrate the glorious possibilities of man as God's image and likeness. The teaching of Christian Science of perfect God and of man as His perfect reflection furnishes the basis for our identification with the purity, freedom, joy, health, and holiness which characterize the Christ, our true selfhood.

" Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light" ( I Pet. 2:9 ).

Sensation is generally associated with the belief that matter is intelligent, that it can see, smell, hear, taste, and touch. Real sensation is spiritual and is independent of material brain, nerves, and the flesh, for man, the reflection of God, Spirit, is cognizant only of that which is spiritual, that which emanates from divine Mind.

Christ Jesus proved that there is never anything actually present but God and His manifestations, which show forth the pure expressions of His goodness, health, holiness, and immortality. Sickness, sin, and death disappeared before the Master's enlightened understanding of this spiritual truth.

From time immemorial music has played its part in human experience. It supplies a deep human need, for it echoes the primeval harmony, "when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy" ( Job 38:7 ).

When I was a child, living in Indian Territory, the owner of the land my father farmed built a beautiful house. He and his family loved to look at the house, to talk of it, to show it to visitors, and sometimes to go into it during stormy weather.

An honest person always pays his debts, and when he prays the Lord's Prayer and comes to the line, "Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors" ( Matt. 6:12 ), it may seem that these words have no direct application to him.

Christian Science leads men to step out mentally into a new awareness of God and His spiritual universe. The master Metaphysician, Christ Jesus, revolted against dogma and the teaching that prayer is a formulated rite or a special privilege ordained to only a few.

No aspect of the healing ministry of Christ Jesus is more meaningful or helpful to a student of Christian Science than that of his approach to and triumph over material difficulties. A study of his lifework shows that he met and overcame each one with the same confident sense of spiritual dominion, ease, and freedom.
