Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

"OPEN THOU MINE EYES"

" Open thou mine eyes," the Psalmist prayed, "that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law" ( Ps. 119:18 ).

"I AM NOT IMPRESSED"

A Friend who is a student of Christian Science related that some years ago after she had recounted to her family all that she had to put up with, what a hard time she was having, and how painful it was for her to carry on her duties, one of her daughters replied lovingly but pointedly, "Mother, I am not impressed. " The mother saw that this was the right attitude, for she certainly had no desire to imprint any belief of a real and awful error upon others.

A high moral sense supports us in making right decisions; but the consistently accurate acceptance of that which is true and the rejection of that which is illusory require spiritual perception beyond the scope of ordinary human reasoning or variable sense testimony.

PRINCIPLE PERVADES, IS ALL

It is becoming increasingly clear to spiritually enlightened thought that there is but one government, that of divine Principle, and that this Principle actuates and protects all right human endeavors to express it. There is no outsideness to Principle, no escape from Principle's undeviating law and encompassing tenderness.

PARTICIPATING IN THE NEW CRUSADE

The crusades of medieval times appealed to the chivalric instinct of men and provided them with opportunities for adventure, penitence, and devotion. As military campaigns, the crusades were not effective.

THE POWER TO FORGIVE

God is good, infinite in goodness, mercifulness, and love. Because man is the image and likeness of God, he is identified by these qualities.
