ANOINTING WITH OIL

One Wednesday evening the writer drove home from the testimony meeting, held in a Church of Christ, Scientist, praying for guidance which would enable her to prove her dominion over error. For several weeks a painful knee had distressed her.

FACULTIES OF MIND DO NOT FAIL

We frequently hear of the weakening or loss of faculties, such as sight, hearing, reason, or memory. GENTLENESS

Witness the effect of a gentle rain with its refreshment and encouragement in the unfolding of beauty and fragrance. See also the blustering rain that beats against the windowpane, flattens grass and plant, and threatens with blight both bud and blossom.
