Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

UNINTERRUPTED CONTINUITY

In writing of the so-called activities of human existence, our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, tells us in "Science and Health with Key 'to the Scriptures" ( p. 283 ), "Matter and its effects—sin, sickness, and death—are states of mortal mind which act, react, and then come to a stop.

TRUE IDENTITY VERSUS FALSE

The fundamental error in all human problems is the belief that man's being or identity is conditioned by matter, that his harmony or well-being is good or bad according to the testimony put forth by the material senses. Christian Science, however, teaches that man is wholly spiritual.

UNSELFISHNESS

What is unselfishness? In Christian Science it means being freed of one's ego, or false sense of self, freed of the demands of mortal mind. Selfishness means idolizing one's ego by believing in a selfhood apart from God.

EFFORTLESS EXPRESSION

PRINCIPLE AND PURPOSE

The purpose of divine Principle, God, is to express itself. Man lives in accordance with this divine purpose, his existence evidencing the eternal unfolding of divine Principle.

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE, PRISM OF TRUTH

What a striking and apt figure of speech Mary Baker Eddy uses when she speaks of Christian Science as the prism of truth. She says in "Miscellaneous Writings" ( p.

ONE PERFECT CAUSE

The teachings of Christian Science unveil the great truth that man is in reality the reflection of the one creative cause, the complete manifestation or expression of this one infinite divine Principle, or Mind, which is God. Furthermore, they reveal that in the Science of true being man is a spiritually mental creature, an idea of this Mind, or God, and that the prevalent belief of a man created of matter and mind and born of human parents is an illusion of the so-called carnal mind.

"CHRIST AS A SON OVER HIS OWN HOUSE"

" Let not your heart be troubled," entreated Jesus, comforting his disciples: "ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.
