FREQUENTLY in our human experience we are confronted with the necessity of choosing one of several courses of action. We hear those who make wise decisions regarding employment, financial arrangements, political issues, and social events spoken of as having good judgment, and those whose decisions are unwise as having bad judgment.

IN studying the life and works of Christ Jesus in the light of Christian Science, we discover that all his efforts were directed towards presenting his knowledge of God and the real man to humanity. Unlike philosophers of the past and present searching for man's origin in matter and hopelessly defeated in their search, Christ Jesus, looking beyond matter, with the natural spiritual perception of the Son of God, placed man forever at his eternal source, in and of the Father.

SCARCELY two thirds of a century has passed since a little band of pioneer Christian Scientists first took their stand for the scientific revelation of Truth before a doubting world and organized The Mother Church. CHRISTIAN SCIENCE reveals the glorious fact that all reality is united in one supreme and infinite cause and is subject only to the eternal unfoldment of good. This spiritual unity of God and His creation establishes the continuity of all existence and is made manifest through the operation of divine law in human consciousness.

INTELLIGENT obedience to the Ten Commandments is a prerequisite to a demonstrable knowledge and successful practice of Christian Science. As the children of Israel obediently accepted the demands of the Mosaic Decalogue, so today those of both Jewish and Christian faiths base their pattern for daily living upon the same premise.

IN the twenty-first chapter of St. John's Gospel is an account of one of the most beautiful incidents in the earthly experience of our Master—his last breakfast with his disciples in the early morning on the shore of the Galilean Sea.

PROBABLY the great majority of those who have taken up the study of Christian Science have done so either because of dissatisfaction with orthodox scholastic teaching about the nature of God and man or in the hope of gaining freedom from the beliefs of sickness, sin, and other discords of the flesh. They have felt a real need for a more satisfactory sense of existence than they knew how to obtain.

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE springs from God. It is the appearing of the self-assertion of Deity, measurably perceived through the mist of so-called human consciousness.
