CHRISTIAN SCIENCE springs from God. It is the appearing of the self-assertion of Deity, measurably perceived through the mist of so-called human consciousness. It is the appearing of the self-manifestation of one infinite divine Mind, destroying the supposition of many finite, mortal minds. This self-revelation of God, Spirit, dispels the illusion of matter much as the sun's rays disperse a dark and gloomy mist through the simple superiority of their own warmth and light.
The Christian Science movement is true spiritual knowing, displacing mortals' materialistic supposing. This self -declaration of God, the one supreme intelligence, is forcing the false, ignorant beliefs which constitute mortals—the mental mist which claims to obscure the spiritual facts of universal harmony—to disappear. Mary Baker Eddy, the beloved Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, says in her book "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 55), "Christian Science is based on the facts of Spirit and its forms and representations, but these facts are the direct antipodes of the so-called facts of matter; and the eternal verities of Spirit assert themselves over their opposite, or matter, in the final destruction of all that is unlike Spirit."
The coming of Christian Science to the human race is as irresistible as the dawn, for Truth acts with the power of the infinite to demonstrate its own presence and pure reality. Before this majestic, incontestable self-unfoldment of God, unreal material sense must inevitably disappear, for mortals can no more prevent Truth's appearing than humanity can hold back the rising sun.
