DIVINELY INSPIRED SERMONS

" All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. " So the Apostle Paul wrote to his beloved Timothy ( II Timothy 3:16,17 ).

LUKE, AND THE BOOK OF ACTS

In the opening verses of the book of Acts, which is dedicated to Theophilus ( Acts 1:1 ), the author mentions his "former treatise" bearing the same dedication ( Luke 1:3 ), and dealing with the Master's ministry. Christ Jesus, our great Exemplar, gave to the world a new way of living, based upon prayer and demonstration.

DISCIPLINE FOR OUR THINKING

One of the highly important things we learn in the study of Christian Science is the necessity of a constant endeavor to discipline our thinking, in order to conform it to the pattern which Christ Jesus gave to all men that they might attain to freedom from the laws of sin, disease, and death. Indicating the importance of right thinking, Mary Baker Eddy writes in the Christian Science textbook, ''Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" ( p.
