WHOEVER truly understands Christian Science comes to know it as a revelation of absolute Truth. Mary Baker Eddy has not given the world her religious opinion: she has discovered for it the provable spiritual facts of existence.
THE thought of home has often been an inspiration to those wandering on the world's highway. What pleasant pictures it recalls of affection, warmth, comfort, and happy associations! As the horizon of human experience seems to stretch out toward some undiscovered country, human thought continually turns back to a restful dwelling place which men call home.
EVERYONE knows that it is common custom for anyone preparing to run a race to free himself of every ounce of unnecessary weight. In a long racing contest it counts for much to have as little as possible to carry, for thus a maximum amount of freedom is assured to the human body.
THE book of Revelation was given to us by John, the faithful disciple of Jesus. Its truths were revealed to him through his understanding of God and man, gained by his unswerving devotion to the Master and his accompanying love and implicit obedience.
Obedience rightly understood is one of the most potent factors in bringing about a demonstration of Christian Science. There are two states of thought found among Christian Scientists, both of which are called obedience.

WE can never be Christian Scientists until we know what and where God is; we cannot know man, we cannot know the true nature of ourselves, until we first know God. Our great need is to draw closer to God.
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE is teaching to-day the way to gain a clear realization of man's God-given heritage of freedom from every speculative and mischievous so-called law of matter. This teaching brings into individual experience relief from discord, as well as the practical comfort of holy aspiration, making it possible to understand man's true individuality as a child of the loving, ever present Father, who is ever ready to render immediate aid, ever available in seemingly the most desperate conditions.
IN the lands to which the characters of the Bible were native, wells containing water were of paramount importance. Men and beasts alike depended upon these wells.
THE Scriptures inform us that God created man in His own likeness; and Mrs. Eddy says on page 475 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" that man "is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas.
