AT the Wednesday evening meetings in Christian Science churches, words of grateful testimony may frequently be heard from those who have been healed through reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The previous unhappiness of those who testify may have been caused by sickness, by the indulgence of a harmful habit, or by the entertaining of a wrong concept of work; but whatever the seeming cause may have been, it was but darkness resulting from a lack of right control of the mental affairs of that person's life.

ON page 131 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy writes, "The central fact of the Bible is the superiority of spiritual over physical power.

WHAT is spiritual identification? It is the process or act of recognizing one's true selfhood. This identification is the process whereby one relinquishes his mortal, material selfhood, to find and establish his spiritual identity as the child of God.

SO firmly convinced was the Psalmist of the ever-presence and all-power of God that, filled with assurance, he sang: "He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

PICTURE to yourself a large company of soldiers on a long march at night through mountainous regions covered with dense forests. The trail which they are following leads upward, and is straight and narrow.

WRONG material conditions are indicative of wrong mental conditions. And these wrong mental conditions are obstructions which impede our progress, and which must be removed in order that we may continue our journey Spiritward.

WHAT a vast amount of woe the world would be saved were it to abide by Paul's admonition: "They measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

" AND God said, Let there be light: and there was light. " This earliest fiat of infinite Mind, the spiritual creator, never has been and never can be revoked.

THE healing power of ever present Love, which is being demonstrated in Christian Science, is attracting very many to investigate it. Those who are healed are in turn immediately desirous of helping others to be free from the bondage of sin, sickness, and depressing human cares.
