Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

"TURN RIGHT"

TWO students of Christian Science who undertook a vacation trip in an automobile, when but a short distance from their starting point found that something was wrong with the car they were driving. Turning into a garage, they were told that certain repairs were needed which would entail considerable expense and an ill-afforded delay.

"WHAT SHALL A MAN GIVE?"

THERE was a time not so many years ago when, if one asked the reason for some so-called act of God, he was told that it was wrong to ask such a question, for no one could presume to understand a Being so great and mysterious as God. If the question were pushed, and it were asked, "How then did Jesus understand God?" the answer was that Jesus himself was Deity! To-day, men everywhere are learning to rejoice in the fact that Christ Jesus, as the most perfect man who ever walked the earth, did indeed understand his Father; and that whatever was possible to him is possible to us —that we also, as God's image and likeness, may understand God.

EQUALITY

IN the twentieth chapter of Matthew Jesus recites a parable which would seem to be intended to convey the idea of equality as held by the Father toward all. Jesus likens the kingdom of heaven to a householder who went out early in the day to hire laborers for his vineyard.

TRUE LIFE

WHERE there is implanted in human consciousness a desire to know the truth of being and to live in accordance with it, the right understanding of Life is essential. Jesus declared, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

HUMILITY

MEEKNESS is strength, not weakness; humbleness is seen in the overcoming of evil, not in submission to it; humility in its true nature and significance brings ascension. In building it is well to examine each stone that goes into our structure, or we may find ourselves deceived; for it may occur that stones which appear most promising are unfit for use.

THE SANCTUARY

WHEN Moses received on mount Sinai the vision of the moral law in the Ten Commandments, there was also revealed to him the necessity of establishing a sanctuary for the worship of the God who had revealed Himself to him as the great " I AM THAT I AM. " This understanding of God had to be expressed to the people in a way which they could understand; and we read in Exodus that God said, "Let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
