IT is comparatively easy for one to enumerate the myriad ways in which human love is made manifest: in giving and withholding; in sacrifice and surrender; in patience, tenderness, forgiveness, and so on through a list that would swell to large proportions if each should add his own special definition of what constitutes a genuine expression of love. Yet higher than merely human love, because the very source from which it springs, is Love divine; and a recognition of this, and its universality, leads one to enter a new world, for Love rightly understood meets every need of humanity.

AMONG the most beautiful of the many similes used in the Scriptures is that of the Christ knocking at the door of human consciousness, as pictured in Revelation. Many an earnest Christian Scientist of today was at first prejudiced against what he had thought Christian Science to be, mainly because he had misconceived of it as merely a matter of thinking or saying that nothing is the trouble, even when one seems to be suffering.

WHEN the time draws near for the election of officers in the branch churches, it is fitting that every active worker for the cause should earnestly endeavor to manifest a keen, practical knowledge of how best to cast his vote for the highest welfare of the church of which he is a member.
