When kids talk, they ask for the Herald

For years, readers of the various Christian Science magazines in many countries asked for more articles and materials for children. With the Herald team's expanding view of the magazine and its mission to proclaim the availability of Truth to humanity, the editors began to explore the possibility of producing Herald issues for special audiences, including children and teens.

The Braille Herald

One of the most quickly created Heralds, the English Braille edition served readers for over sixty years. This system of dots, which represent an alphabet, punctuation, and other symbols necessary for communicating ideas, was invented by a blind Frenchman, Louis Braille, in 1824.

A magazine of ideas that keep on working

Every Time I drive past or through Mars Hill, Maine, in the United States, I think of the Apostle Paul's visit to Athens, Greece. You may recall that during a visit to Athens, he was invited to speak about Jesus' teachings to the Areopagus, a kind of council of philosophers, on Mars' Hill.

The Presbyterian Church

By the close of the first quarter of the 16th century, the Protestant Reformation was in full swing and Lutheranism was going strong. The English king, Henry VIII, would reject the authority of the Pope in 1534.

Pass that cup

One of the main points of 2002 Annual Meeting & Conference was that Christian Science is for everyone. This year the Annual Meeting is taking place in Berlin, Boston, and on the World Wide Web.
