Every branch Church of Christ, Scientist, is needed in its local community, and has a unique niche to fill. A Christian Science lecture supports the invaluable role of each branch church.
Funds are available for benevolence grants from the trust established under Clause 8 of Mary Baker Eddy’s will. These funds are devoted to the primary purpose of “more effectually promoting and extending the religion of Christian Science as taught by [Mary Baker Eddy].
Dear Members and Friends, It has been a joy to share news with you from the Clerk’s office over the last several years. As conveyed in an announcement in April, I’ll be concluding my work as Clerk later in June.
Dear Fellow Members of The Mother Church, It is a special privilege, as the first Australian President of The Mother Church, to be writing to you with assurance of our gratitude and love. My appointment not only recognizes the Australian Field but also the loving embrace of The Mother Church for the whole world.
Every three years, the Board of Education, an auxiliary to the Massachusetts Metaphysical College, holds a Normal class to train and authorize dedicated practitioners of Christian Science healing to take on the additional responsibility of teaching this healing practice to others. For the first time, the entire membership of The Mother Church was invited to prayerfully support this activity so fundamental to our Church and our Cause.
On November 6, 2015 , the Christian Science Board of Directors voted to welcome new members to our worldwide church family. The election of new members takes place at a regular business meeting of the Board of Directors and is required in the Church Manual.

June 5, 2015 Dear Members and Friends, It is a joy and a privilege for me to share news of today’s admission of new members. Admission takes place at a regular business meeting of the Christian Science Board of Directors and is required in the Church Manual.
Since 1904, faculty and students have been providing opportunities for people on university and college campuses to become familiar with practical concepts in Science and Health. These faculty and students, members of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, have formed organizations that are open to participation by students and faculty on their campus, regardless of their individual faith traditions.
