Mountaintop to mountaintop, crest to crest, is where we stand. Error is unknown to Mind— unknown to man.
Like one of those Twelve, I, too, stand at the edge of a multitude. In my hands are barely half a loaf of bread and a fragment of fish given me to share with those out there, waiting, patient and expectant, to be fed.
Not mere habitual repetition nor tired formula— but the Christly effort reaching joyfully out to almighty Love with humble obedience. We then leap a colossal step heavenward lifted up—soaring free! Now we know beyond flimsy doubt we've scaled the mount to the absolute knowing— one Mind is All, now, and we're the spontaneous reflection.
Longing for joy, activity, companionship, Yet hesitant to participate, I sit at the edge of life—and wait. Assured of safety by obedience to rules, A sky diver steps eagerly into space Expecting uninhibited free fall— Then, why should I, seeking a more spiritual freedom, And trusting a higher law to uphold, Give time to thoughts of failure? The dream of death cannot separate Man from Life— And I can prove it— now! The forlorn baggage of fear and doubt Must be put down to free my hand For grasping His.
