Stephen's story

begins in Acts 6:5. It seems to end as stones turn red with Stephen's blood.

Beauty of holiness

Not bland truths powderpuffed on— cosmetic glossover of evil's ugliness— but affirmation of the irresistible root-radical error-wrenching death-defying foundation of faith, that dynamic Principle of gentle omnipotence, which effaces whatever seems to hide God's reflected beauty— perfect man. Jean M.

Church service

Thought-joined prayers fill the room with understanding Jagged thoughts are gentled by reassurances of love Peace thoughts touch calm the frantic Unity of thought leaves the room together. Kristin J.

A new grammar for the new tongue

Thought ramifies forevering Soulward; whole Love overunders and throughouts creation, routing the notlike. God alls; man vasts along the truthfast way, proving surefully (beyond mere thinginess, above everywho) that Soul, I, is the sole Us.

Eloquence of us

The eloquence of Word makes each Variform, so fitting, neat: With loving eye it sees It speaks with tongue It writes by hand It runs on feet With action-ease To please concordant Mind As fully activated man. The fountainhead of function Has, it seems to me, But one vocabulary: all and each; So that which bubbles in us all (with no account of clock) Goes out as messenger with purpose All programmed from the heart, Darting in travel-time of Soul To praise another.

Out of this world

The way to leave the world? Not by dying. Impossible that way.

Be gentle—care!

It takes the gentle rain to bring the grass again after a prairie fire. When word of hate would singe or burn up friendship's green, turn instantly to prayer! Let Love's forgiving dew cool smoldering root and heal whatever lit the flare.

Allness

Love has infinite ability To maintain its own infinity. Leonard E.

PONDERING RAINBOWS

When I was a little girl, one of the most exciting things was finding a rainbow after a storm— and more so, if in another part of the sky the storm was still in progress. Then, when I was older, I learned what a rainbow really stands for: God's promise to His children that He will not let error flood the earth.

YOU ARE HOLY

Scrutinize as with His eyes— What perfection, glory, and beauty you are, you have. You can never have less if you try, or others try, to give the lie to holiness.
