Resentment healed

From the July 1978 issue of The Christian Science Journal

She lashed out at me so suddenly
hurt and resentment threatened deep wounds.
Quickly! Quickly I put my armor on!

And then I thought,
"I'm not what she thinks I am.
I'm what God knows me to be.
I'm nothing more or nothing less than what God knows me to be."

That helped.

"And she's not what I might think she is.
She's what God knows her to be.
She's nothing more or nothing less than what God knows her to be."

That healed.

And I'm wearing my armor more consistently now.
