Testimonies of Healing

Two years ago my husband and I joined other members of our branch church one evening to watch a very inspiring live-streamed broadcast of the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.   After the broadcast, my husband and I felt such joy, such an assurance of God’s tender care for each one of us.

I had just been through a long night of extreme nausea and vomiting. I had been doing my best to pray for healing through Christian Science but with no relief.

When the author recognized God as his divine Parent, he saw that he was loved, cared for, and protected from harm.

On two occasions I have been healed of a blocked throat. The first was during supper one Wednesday evening just before I was to read for the testimony meeting at our branch Church of Christ, Scientist.

There is a story in the Bible about a woman with an “issue of blood” (see Mark 5:25–34 ). She was in this state for twelve years, and no one could help her; however, she reached out to touch the hem of Christ Jesus’ garment and was immediately healed.

Some time ago, I was feeling so much pressure at work that at one point I was afraid I might suffer a nervous breakdown. I had been upgraded to a new position a few months earlier.

I took an ice-skating class in my final semester of college. After class one day, since we seemed ambitious, our teacher was showing another student and me how to perform more advanced tricks.

When addictions began to run this author’s life, he turned to studying Christian Science, and was completely healed.

One evening I came back from dinner after a cross country practice and had lots of homework to do, which was normal. I felt tired and began to notice a headache coming on.

The author was healed from menstrual cramps when she better understood her spiritual origin.
