This testimony is submitted with great gratitude to Christ Jesus for what he taught us about the omnipotence of our all-wise, all-good God, and to Mary Baker Eddy for showing us that the healing Jesus did can be done today. I am also profoundly grateful for Christian Science practitioners and teachers, who selflessly help others in their times of need.
About a year and a half ago I started hemorrhaging when using the bathroom. I was flummoxed and fearful. However, as a student of Christian Science for over forty years, I had learned that I am a spiritual idea of God, and I’d seen this truth proved many times in healing. I knew that Spirit, not matter or blood, constitutes my life.
I immediately called on a Christian Science practitioner for help. He reminded me that a spiritual idea includes everything it should have, and nothing it should not have. And everything in that spiritual idea is always in its right place, consistently performing and fulfilling its proper God-ordained purpose, function, and activity. These ideas silenced my fear.
